Doha: The State of Qatar, represented by the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority (GRSIA), participated yesterday in the 47th meeting of the Technical Committee for Civil Retirement and Social Insurance Agencies of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was held via video conference.
Director of Customer Department and member of the committee Ali Abdullah Al Kuwari, who represented GRSIA, participated in the meeting.
The agenda included reviewing and updating the unified system for extending insurance protection, a comparative study of civil retirement and social insurance systems, the annual unified awareness campaign initiative and the coordination initiative and participation in international events.

Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic the technical community has been at the forefront of transitioning academic teaching online, in making university campuses COVID-secure and in support of world-leading COVID research at universities. A special prize category has been launched to recognise the efforts of a technical team or an individual during the pandemic. Nominations will close on April 30.

U.S. stock indices aren t looking particularly strong these days, grinding higher by a handful of basis points at a time. The S & P 500 continues to ride along a top-side trend-line that could also constitute the last leg of a reverse symmetrical triangle, also known to some as a Megaphone. These patterns are marked by higher highs and lower lows that indicate a growing instability in the trend.
The lack of momentum at this juncture with the pattern formation suggests we may soon see a decline get underway. The prior high at 3870 is the first level of support, followed by the important March trend-line.
